Our 2012 calendars are in!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please come and purchase yours while it is hot off the press! The price for this year's calendar is $9.00, available at museum Thurs. 1-3 PM and at Pangburn IGA, Millinocket Insurance, Levasseur's, Pine Tree Treasures & Young House. By mail add $2.75 SH.
Help the Millinocket Historical Society!
The Millinocket Historical Society is seeking a grant through the Bangor Savings Bank “Community Matters More” program. Ballots are available at any Bangor Savings Bank or you may vote on-line at www.communitymattersmore.com. Click on “Cast your vote today!” to see the ballot. Enter the requested information at the top of ballot and then scroll down to the Northern section and enter Millinocket Historical Society in one of the write-in spaces. One vote per person, any age, and must be a Maine resident. Voting ends March 5, 2012. Thank you for your support!

With nearly 82,000 votes cast by the people of Maine, the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation will donate $100,000 to 68 Maine-based non-profit organizations throughout the State.

The Millinocket Historical Society's Yard sale season has once again come to a close. We wanted to thank so many people who donated their wares to us and helped us raise money for our renovating needs! Thank you all so much!!!
If you are still interested in donating items for our yard sales for next year, please seek out our announcements in the spring for where and when you can drop off these items. Please do not leave any items in our driveway at Central Street as we are no longer accepting items this year. Thank you.
We also can not accept large pieces of furniture; ie-Desks, couches, recliners, beds, large appliances, or large dressers.
We are looking forward to seeing all of our friends and neighbors again this year!
